Wayne State University Interim President Allan Gilmour was a featured guest on WJR's "Turnaround Michigan" show examining the recent formation of a new initiative called Accelerate Michigan. The Business Leaders for Michigan and the University Research Corridor announced the initiative designed to better align university research with the business concerns of large companies. The goal is to make the state a top ten state for economic growth, organizers said.
